My enemy is the Apocalypse.

Anonymous. Faceless.

Shrouded in cloaks and deception.

They are the true puppeteers of East Point, pulling the strings of their minions and controlling the masses of sheep. They're cowards hiding behind false identities and blank addresses.

And guess who’s still their number one plaything? Yep, that’s me.

When I came to East Point, I had one mission in mind: find the people responsible for killing my best friend. And boy, did I get more than I bargained for. Everything I’ve looked into twists and turns to dead-ends.

No one is who they say they are.

When identities are revealed, we're more screwed than before. With every step we take forward, we're thrust a million steps back.

But this time, I’m not alone. I have my four guys by my side. Together, with shreds of new evidence and better technology, we will continue our investigation into Magnolia’s murder. And bring justice to her death.

Or die trying.

What People are saying…

  • Amazing!!

Web of Lies was one of my top reads of 2021. I was obsessed instantly. I adore Kaycee and her quirks, and the way she is unapologetically herself. I love that she has let the boys in, even Cruel Carter. I have such a love/hate relationship with his character. Like I really wanna hit him sometimes, but I get why he’s doing it. Zeppelin, Seger, and Chase continue to be amazing boyfriends. They always have Kaycee’s back, it doesn’t matter the situation. They’re in this for good. I don’t know what to think about the ending, I have suspicions on who at least one of the attackers is. The cliffhanger is brutal. All in all, Tangled Truths is an amazing follow up to Web of Lies, and I cannot wait for Wicked Deiceit!!

  • !!!Amazing!!!

Aly Beck has done it again! I loved this book and couldn’t stop reading it. This is book two of the series. We get some answers to questions from book one, but we also get more questions.

This story has lots of intrigue and so much steam. Kaycee and her men are hot!

There is a ‘what the heck? How can you end the book here?!!!’ cliffhanger, and I’ll be desperately waiting for book three.
